About Avis Meeks Day, MD

  • Dr. Day believes her faith makes life worth living. While she enjoys traveling, writing poetry, sewing, and doing puzzles, she believes that marriage, parenting, and “kissing cousins” keep her grounded. She gives back to the community by remaining an active volunteer with her sorority, and continues to satisfy her curiosity about different people and cultures through books. Dr. Day has enjoyed diverse experiences in her life; the honor of military service, the joy of raising two successful young people, and the challenge of melding marriage and career. These experiences all help her to connect with the families that entrust their children to her care.

I love children, and I am blessed to care for them.

  • March 12, 2024

Dr. Day has been our primary care doctor since my babies’ births. We love and trust her implicitly with the care of our children who are now teenagers.

  • March 5, 2024

Dr. Day and her staff were phenomenal. We always feel extremely safe and confident in the service provided from the front desk staff to our time with the doctor.

  • March 3, 2024

Dr day is a knowledgeable doctor and her staff is nice. ARC in general does feel a bit too busy so there is something missing by way of communication with us. We are never really sure what's next or if we got all of our questions answered.

    Love Dr. Day as always!
