ARC Gives Back to the Greater Austin Community

Austin Regional Clinic supports health care goals in the Greater Austin Community both by providing health care to individuals, and also by contributing to and participating in programs that focus on improving health conditions for EVERYONE in the ten communities we serve through medical care, screenings, research or education. Founders Day Festival

The ARC Dripping Springs team, including family medicine doctor, Jacqueline F. Fournier MD, represented ARC at Dripping Spring’s largest three day event, The City of Dripping Springs Annual Founders Day Festival.

Liberty Hill ISD Inaugural Gala

The ARC Liberty Hill team, including Dr. Krupaben Patel and Dr. Lan Anh Van-Dinh, had a wonderful time attending the Make the Difference Inaugural Gala. 

Batrop Run This Town 5k/1k

The ARC Bastrop team participated in Mina Elementary’ s first annual “Run This Town” 5k/1k race in December 2021. This race encouraged entire families to lead healthier lifestyles by keeping healthy bodies and lungs through running.

Walk With a Doc

Dr. Krupaben Patel hosted her first “Walk with a Doc” on Saturday, October 9, at Lions Foundation Park in Liberty Hill. Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle through movement and conversation.

Rockin’ Out

Dr. Arthur Cheng and his nurse, Taylor, played at Hill Country Christian’s football game at Cedar Park High School in early October. Dr. Cheng is the band teacher there and, when they were out a singer, asked Taylor to join because she is always singing to calm kids down during shots and suture removals.

Austin Public Health

Dr. Holliman volunteered with Austin Public Health and Austin Black Physicians Association to give COVID-19 vaccines to the public.

Volunteer Healthcare Clinic

Dr. Suhag has been named to the Board of Directors. Many ARC physicians serve as volunteer providers at the clinic.

Dripping Springs Employee Breakfast

Dr. Crystal Steed ran a booth at the Drippings Springs employee convocation 2021. She represented ARC Dripping Springs to over 1200 employees.

Sports Physicals

Volunteered to do sport physicals for 80 young women all around Austin at the Ann Richard School for Young Women.

Texas Legislature

Dr. Marcus had a private audience with Governor Greg Abbott and Dr. Liam Fry, as Abbott signed SB 5, the COVID liability bill that the two had worked on with TAPA.

Dr. Jerett Zipin was the lead medical tent physician at this event for the second time this year.

Sendero Springs Snow Cone Truck

Dr. Natasha Ahmed, the Sendero Springs clinic, and marketing collaborated on hosting a snow cone truck and Saturday vaccine clinic where Dr. Ahmed introduced herself to parents and children as they enjoyed free snow cones at ARC Sendero Springs.

Sports Physicals

Ashley Price and the ARC Center Street team handed out promo items and volunteered time to provide sports physicals to students at nearby schools.

Drs. Shah, Ahmed, and Suhag spoke and interacted with 4th-5th grade girls in STEM at GirlStart Summer Camp.
